Are you open everyday?

Yes we are open 7 days a week during the school holidays. You can book all of our activities online www.gygkarting.com. We highly recommend you book in advance. If you arrive onsite without a booking, we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Are you open in the rain?

Yes we are open in the rain and we provide you with wet suits. The rain makes it more fun with lots of time to practice your drifting skills. If torrential we have hot showers for afterwards therefore it is recommended to bring a spare set of clothes.

Is all equipment provided?

We provide you with a racing suit and helmet. You are required to bring with you, your own pair of gloves and a balaclava if you have them or you can purchase these items onsite at £2.50 each.

Are balaclavas compulsory?

Balaclavas are compulsory and for hygiene reasons cannot be returned for reuse. Your welcome to bring your own or they can be purchased on site at £2.50 each.

Are gloves compulsory?

Yes gloves are compulsory. You are welcome to bring your own or you can purchase a pair onsite from £2.50. We sell grip gloves, thermal gloves and waterproof thermal gloves at a great price onsite.

How long is one Arrive & Drive Karting Session?

One Arrive & Drive Karting Session is just over 10 minutes. You can book as many karting sessions as you wish online or onsite. Your second and third karting session are offered at a discounted rate.

Can I decide how many Arrive & Drive Karting Sessions I would like on the day?

Yes you can decide how many Karting Sessions you would like on the day. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age is 11 years.

I’ve never done Karting before, will I be ok?

Yes of course. We welcome beginners to professionals. We have highly trained safety mechanics that will go over everything with you before you participate in your activity.

Am I provided with a safety briefing?

Yes all drivers are provided with a safety briefing and kart familiarisation from our safety mechanics.

Do you allow Head Camera’s / Go Pro’s?

Yes we do allow Head Camera’s and Go Pro’s. We have some camera mounts on our helmets, how ever we recommend you bring your own camera mount just incase.

Do you have twin seater karts?

Sorry no we do not offer this service.
