Q. Are you open everyday?
A. Yes we are open 7 days a week. You can book online www.gygkarting.com or via telephone 01490 420 770. We highly recommend you book. If you arrive onsite with out a booking, we will do our very best to accommodate you.

 

Q. Are you open in the rain?
A. Yes we are open in the rain and we provide you with wet suits. The rain makes it more fun!

 

Q. Is all equipment provided?
A. We provide you with a Safety Racing Suit and Helmet. You are required to bring with you, your own pair of gloves. You can purchase gloves onsite at £2.00 each.

 

Q. Are balaclavas / hair nets compulsory?
A. Hair nets are compulsory and are provided for hygiene reasons. We recommend drivers to wear a balaclava for warmth and comfort. Your welcome to bring your own or they can be purchased on site at £2.00 each.

 

Q. Are gloves compulsory?
A. Gloves are not compulsory. We recommend them for driver comfort and grip. Your welcome to bring your own or they can be purchased on site at £2.00 each.

 

Q. How long is one Arrive & Drive Karting Sessions?
A. One Karting Session is just over 10 minutes. You can book as many Karting Sessions as you wish.

 

Q. Can I decide how many Arrive & Drive Karting Sessions I would like on the day?
A. Yes you can decide how many Karting Sessions you would like on the day.

 

Q. What is the minimum age?
A. The minimum age is 9 years.

 

Q. I’v never done Karting before, will I be ok?
A. Yes of course. We welcome beginners to professionals. We have highly trained safety mechanics that will go over everything with you before you Kart.

 

Q. Am I provided with a safety briefing?
A. Yes all drivers are provided with a safety briefing and kart familiarisation from our safety mechanics.

 

Q. I’m on holiday and don’t have a printer to print off my Karting Ticket, what do I do?
A. Bring with you a device that shows your ticket on your emails. We have a copy of your receipt at reception that you can sign.

 

Q. Do you allow Head Camera’s / Go Pro’s?
A. Yes we do allow Head Camera’s and Go Pro’s. We have some camera mounts on our helmets, how ever we recommend you bring your own camera mount just incase.
