Frequently Asked Question’s

Q. What time can we set up in the morning?

A. Gates will be open at 8:00am. If you wish to arrive earlier than 8:00am please email: gemma@gygkarting.com

Q. Where can we set up?

A. You can set up in the Paddock / Car Park Area.

Q. Do you reserve pit bays?

A. No we do not reserve put bays. The large paddock area is welcome to all free of charge.

Q. Can we pay cash / card on the day.

A. Yes you can pay cash / card on the day. We do not accept cheques.

Q. Can we stay over onsite?

A. Yes of course, you can park up in the Paddock / Car Park Area. You must inform Gemma if you require to stay onsite.

During Winter months we can not provide water or toilets due to pipe freeze. You must arrive on site equipped with water and toilet in your motorhome. As it is cold during the Winter Months we recommend you stay in local accommodation or we do have Caravan and Camping Sites a miles from the Circuit.

Q. Do you have electric hook ups?

A. No, we do not have electric hook ups. If you require electric there are plenty of Caravan and Camping Sites a miles from the Circuit that can provide this for you.

Q. Do you charge for staying over night?

A. Yes. We will charge £10.00 per motorhome / caravan per night or £4.00 per person, per night for those sleeping in a tent. We ask that you kindly respect the facilities onsite.

  • Please do not litter.
  • Please keep our washrooms clean and tidy.
  • Please keep your dog on a short lead at all times.
  • Please respect the country side and farm land.

Q. Are dogs welcome?

A. Yes dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Due to the site being located on farmed land.

DKC Supplementary Regulations state “Strictly no dogs allowed on the circuit, dummy grid and facility area. Otherwise dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and kept within
the confines of the owners pit space while practice or racing is taking place. Any dog fouling must be cleaned up by the dog owner, otherwise a fine of £50 will result.”

PLEASE NOTE: Test days are run by Dragon Kart Club (DKC) not GYG Karting Ltd.

You must obey by the DKC supplementary regulations.
